The doctors, nurses, and therapists at the Temple Lung Center are experts in diagnosing and treating all forms of pulmonary disease. The conditions most commonly seen at the Temple Lung Center are described in this section. Your pulmonologist will arrange for all the necessary tests to ensure a precise diagnosis. These tests commonly include pulmonary function and exercise testing; blood draws or mucus samples for lab tests; chest x-rays or other imaging tests like a CT scan; electrocardiograms; or sleep studies. For your convenience, all of these tests and doctor visits can be done at the Temple Lung Center’s spacious new facility. Your illness may require special tests not described in this section. Be sure you know what tests your doctor is recommending and what condition has been diagnosed. Once your condition is diagnosed, then your pulmonary doctor will describe your options for treatment (see Treatments).
